Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``PrEP Assistance Program Act''. SEC. 2. PRE-EXPOSURE PROPHYLAXIS GRANT PROGRAM. (a) In General.--Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (in this section referred to as the ``Secretary'') and in collaboration with the Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration, shall establish a program that provides grants to eligible entities to establish and support PrEP programs.
