Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Argentina Bailout Oversight Act''. SEC. 2. GAO REPORT. (a) Study.--The Comptroller General of the United States shall conduct a study of the 2025 financial crisis in Argentina. (b) Scope.--The study shall include-- (1) an examination on the origins of Argentina's financial crisis; (2) an assessment of the extent to which the United States Government and the International Monetary Fund have been aware of Argentina's financial problems and provided relevant advice to Argentina; (3) a description of the United States and international response to the crisis, including an assessment of the terms and conditions of the agreements implementing United States assistance to address the crisis; (4) an analysis of the statutory authority of the Secretary of the Treasury to use the Exchange Stabilization Fund to fund United States assistance; and (5) an examination of the ef
