Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Removing Burdens From Organ Donation Act''. SEC. 2. NOTIFYING ORGAN PROCUREMENT AGENCIES WITH RESPECT TO POTENTIAL ORGAN DONORS. (a) In General.--Section 1138(a) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1320b-8(a)) is amended-- (1) in paragraph (1)(A)(iii)-- (A) by adding ``and'' at the end; (B) by striking ``that such'' and inserting ``that-- ``(I) such''; and (C) by adding at the end the following new subclause: ``(II) subject to paragraph (4), beginning on the date that is 2 years after the date of the enactment of the Removing Burdens From Organ Donation Act, with respect to such a potential organ donor, such hospital's designated organ procurement agen
