Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Community Health Profiles Act''. SEC. 2. COMMUNITY HEALTH DATA PILOT PROGRAM. (a) Establishment.--Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (in this section referred to as the ``Secretary''), shall establish a pilot program (in this section referred to as the ``Program'') to award grants, on a competitive basis, to not more than 25 eligible entities to develop or enhance neighborhood-level, publicly accessible health data platforms. Such platforms shall submit de- identified, aggregated data to the National Neighborhood Health Data Repository established under subsection (h), consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local privacy laws.
