Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Providing Radiation Exposed Servicemembers Undisputed Medical Eligibility Act'' or the ``PRESUME Act''. SEC. 2. PROHIBITION OF REQUIREMENT OF EVIDENCE OF A CERTAIN DOSE OF RADIATION TO DETERMINE THAT A VETERAN IS A RADIATION- EXPOSED VETERAN. Section 1112(c) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: ``(5) The Secretary may not require evidence of a certain dose of radiation to determine that a veteran is a radiation-exposed veteran.''. <all>
