Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``No Bail Post-Jail Act''. SEC. 2. DENIAL FOR PRETRIAL RELEASE FOR PRIOR INCARCERATION. Section 3142(e) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: ``(4) A person shall be considered to pose a danger to the safety of the community and be ineligible for release if the judicial officer finds that the person-- ``(A) is charged with a felony offense; ``(B) is an adult or a juvenile charged as an adult with regard to the offense; and ``(C) has a prior felony conviction for a crime of violence that resulted in the person serving not less than 30 days in a State or Federal correctional facility, not including any period of pretrial detention without conviction.''. <all>
