AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 9 and Title 12, relative to bidding preferences.
As introduced, enacts the "Tennessee Businesses First Act," which requires local governmental entities to provide a 30-day local bidding period for certain contracts, during which only local businesses may submit bids; creates a bidding preference for local businesses. - Amends TCA Title 9 and Title 12.
