Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Integrity in Government Act of 2025'' or the ``IG Act of 2025''. SEC. 2. INSPECTORS GENERAL REFORM. (a) Office of Inspector General in Executive Office of the President.-- (1) Establishment.--Section 401 of title 5, United States Code, is amended-- (A) in paragraph (1), by inserting ``the Executive Office of the President,'' after ``means''; and (B) in paragraph (3), by inserting ``the President (with respect to the Executive Office of the President),'' after ``means''. (2) Appointment.--Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the President shall appoint, in accordance with section 403(a) of title 5, United States Code, an individual to serve as the Inspector General of the Executive Office of the President.
