AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 49; Title 8 and Title 49, and to amend Chapter __ of the Public Acts of 2025 (1st Ex. Sess. – HB 6004 / SB 6001), relative to education.

As introduced, removes an obsolete provision requiring a report be provided by July 1, 2024, from the department of education, after working in partnership with the state board and the Tennessee higher education commission, to legislative committees regarding implementation of legislation concerning student literacy. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 49; Title 8 and Title 49.
