AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 20, Chapter 1; Title 24, Chapter 5; Title 55, Chapter 12 and Title 56, Chapter 7, relative to civil actions.

As introduced, increases the amount of medical, hospital, or doctor bills that are presumed in a civil action to have been necessary and reasonable if the bills are itemized in the complaint or civil warrant with an attached copy of the bills attached as an exhibit to the complaint or civil warrant, from a total of $4,000 to a total of $25,000. - Amends TCA Title 20, Chapter 1; Title 24, Chapter 5; Title 55, Chapter 12 and Title 56, Chapter 7.
