AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29; Title 49, Chapter 7; Title 49, Chapter 8 and Title 49, Chapter 9, relative to the composition of governing boards of institutions of higher education.

As introduced, expands the list of those who are prohibited from serving on a state university board to include those who hold the position of a member of a governing body for another institution of higher education, not just public institutions of higher education. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 29; Title 49, Chapter 7; Title 49, Chapter 8 and Title 49, Chapter 9.
