AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 40 and Title 41, relative to inmates.

As introduced, removes the requirement that an inmate be chronically debilitated or incapacitated for the commissioner of correction to be able to certify an inmate as eligible for parole; empowers the commissioner to grant an inmate furlough if the inmate is unable to perform at least one of the activities of daily living in a prison environment due to the inmate's chronically debilitated or incapacitated medical condition. - Amends TCA Title 40 and Title 41.
