Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Veteran Housing Promise Act''. SEC. 2. ELIMINATION OF MAXIMUM AUTHORIZATIONS OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR CERTAIN BENEFITS FOR HOMELESS VETERANS. (a) Comprehensive Service Programs.--Section 2016 of title 38, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: ``Sec. 2016. Authorization of appropriations ``There is authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out this subchapter.''. (b) Homeless Veterans Reintegration Programs.--Section 2021(i)(1) of title 38, United States Code, is amended-- (1) in subparagraph (G), by striking ``fiscal year 2024 and each fiscal year thereafter'' and inserting ``each of fiscal years 2024 through 2026''; and (2) by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: ``(H) For fiscal year 2027 and each subsequent
