Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Veterans' Burial Improvement Act of 2025''. SEC. 2. PERMANENT AUTHORITY FOR CERTAIN BURIAL BENEFITS FOR SPOUSES AND CHILDREN WHO PREDECEASE MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES SERVING ON ACTIVE DUTY. (a) Provision of Headstones and Markers.--Section 2306(b)(2) of title 38, United States Code, is amended-- (1) in subparagraph (B), by striking ``if such death occurs before September 30, 2032''; and (2) in subparagraph (C), by striking ``if such death occurs before September 30, 2032''. (b) Interment in National Cemeteries.--Section 2402(a)(5) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking ``if such death occurs before September 30, 2032''. SEC. 3. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS PROVISION OF TRANSPORTATION FOR DECEASED VETERANS. (a) Transportation of Deceased Veterans.-- (1) In general.--Section 2308 of title 38, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: ``Sec. 2308.
