R. 6062 To transfer administrative jurisdiction over certain parcels of federal land in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES November 17, 2025 Mr. Moore of West Virginia (for himself, Mrs. Miller of West Virginia, Mr. Amodei of Nevada, and Mr. Simpson) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Natural Resources, and in addition to the Committees on Homeland Security, and Ways and Means, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To transfer administrative jurisdiction over certain parcels of federal land in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. TRANSFER OF FEDERAL LAND IN HARPERS FERRY, WEST VIRGINIA. (a) Transfer From DOI to CBP.-- (1) In general.--Administrative jurisdiction over the approximately 25 acres of Federal land in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, generally depicted as ``Area to be Transferred to CBP'' on the Map, is transferred from the Secretary to the Commissioner. (2) Administration.--The land transferred under paragraph (1) shall be administered as part of U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Advanced Training Center in accordance with applicable law. (3) Exclusion from harpers ferry national historical park.--The Secretary shall adjust the boundaries of the Park to exclude the land transferred under paragraph (1).
