(a) In General.--The Director of the Bureau of Justice Assistance (referred to in this title as the ``Director'') may make grants to eligible entities to conduct gun buyback programs. (b) Eligible Entity Defined.--In this title, the term ``eligible entity'' means-- (1) a State; (2) a unit of local government; (3) Tribal government; or (4) a covered
