Relating to child welfare; prescribing an effective date.

The Act tells DHS to create and send a report describing the families in child welfare to the legislature. (Flesch Readability Score: 62.8). Requires the Department of Human Services to study the demographics of families involved in the child welfare system. Directs the department to submit findings to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to human services not later than September 15, 2026. Sunsets on January 2, 2027. Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die.
