Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Freedom to Fuel Act''. SEC. 2. PORTABLE FUEL CONTAINER EXCLUSION. Section 183(e)(1)(B) of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7511b(e)(1)(B)) is amended-- (1) in the first sentence, by striking ``The term'' and inserting the following: ``(i) In general.--The term''; and (2) by striking the second sentence and inserting the following: ``(ii) Exclusions.--The term `consumer or commercial product' does not include the following: ``(I) A portable fuel container. ``(II) A fuel or fuel additive regulated under section 211. ``(III) A motor vehicle, non-road vehicle, or non-road engine as defined under section 216.''. <all>
