Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS. (a) Short Title.--This Act may be cited as the ``Climate Solutions Act of 2025''. (b) Table of Contents.--The table of contents for this Act is as follows: Sec. 1. Short title; table of contents. FINDINGS. Congress finds as follows: (1) The United States, like a number of other countries, should state an objective to stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent ``dangerous anthropogenic interference'' with the climate system. The objective should be to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 50 to 52 percent below 2005 levels by 2030. (2) To achieve this objective, the increase in global mean surface temperature should not exceed 2C (3.6F) above preindustrial temperature by 2100 consistent with the Paris Agreement that entered into force in 2016.
