Integrated Cross-Border Law Enforcement Operations Expansion Act

R. 5518 To direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to negotiate an agreement with the Government of Canada for integrated cross-border aerial, land, and maritime law enforcement operations, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES September 19, 2025 Mr. Langworthy (for himself, Mr. Alford, Mr. Weber of Texas, Mr. Lawler, Ms. Stefanik, Mr. Simpson, Mr. Stauber, Mr. Crenshaw, Ms. Tenney, Mr. Zinke, Mr. Van Drew, and Mrs. Luna) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committees on the Judiciary, Homeland Security, and Foreign Affairs, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to negotiate an agreement with the Government of Canada for integrated cross-border aerial, land, and maritime law enforcement operations, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Integrated Cross-Border Law Enforcement Operations Expansion Act''. SEC. 2. SENSE OF CONGRESS. It is the sense of Congress that to the greatest extent practicable and consistent with the foreign policy objectives of the United States, the Secretary of Homeland Security should seek to utilize the authorities granted in this legislation to, among other things, negotiate or amend existing agreements with the Government of Canada, as appropriate, for integrated cross-border aerial, maritime, and land law enforcement operation
