Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``AI for America Act''. SEC. 2. ACTION PLAN RELATING TO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE; NIST REPORT ON SECURITY RISKS RELATING TO, AND IDEOLOGICAL BIAS IN, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. (a) Action Plan.-- (1) In general.--Not later than July 31, 2027, the Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, in coordination with the heads of other relevant Federal agencies, shall submit to the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate an action plan relating to artificial intelligence (in this subsection referred to as the ``Action Plan'').
