Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Local Opportunities, Conservation, and American Lands Act'' or the ``LOCAL Act''. SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS. In this Act: (1) Secretary.--The term ``Secretary'' means the Secretary of the Interior. (2) Western state.--The term ``western State'' means any of the States of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming. SEC. 3. HEADQUARTERS OFFICE OF THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT IN GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO. (a) Headquarters.--The headquarters for the Bureau of Land Management shall be located in Grand Junction, Colorado.
