Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. REPEAL OF RESTRICTION ON ASSISTANCE IN FREEDOM SUPPORT ACT. (a) Findings.--Congress finds that-- (1) the Republic of Azerbaijan has remained a steadfast ally to the United States and United States allies since its independence--providing critical cooperation in times of war and times of peace; (2) Azerbaijan has demonstrated a clear commitment to prioritizing peace in the South Caucasus; and (3) Azerbaijan reached a peace agreement in which the respective borders and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia have been agreed upon. (b) Repeal of Restriction on Assistance to Azerbaijan.--Section 907 of the FREEDOM Support Act (22 U.S.C. 5812 note) is repealed. (c) Clerical Amendment.--The table of contents for such Act is amended by striking the item relating to section 907. <all>
