Phase Out Sales Tax on Electric, Gas, and Water Bills

Would gradually eliminate the sales tax you pay on electric, gas, water, and steam service over four years. Right now Indiana taxes your utility bills like a retail purchase. This bill would phase that tax down to zero by 2030, saving the average household hundreds of dollars a year.
