Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Essential Caregivers Act of 2025''. SEC. 2. FINDINGS. Congress finds the following: (1) According to the National Center for Health Statistics of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an estimated 1,300,000 individuals resided in nursing homes in 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and nearly half of all nursing home residents were living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or other related dementi
