Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Rail Improvement Design and Expansion for Faster Advanced State Transportation Act'' or the ``RIDE FAST Act''. SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR CERTAIN INTERCITY PASSENGER RAIL GRANTS. Section 22106(a) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Public Law 117-58; 135 Stat. 696) is amended by striking ``2026'' and inserting ``2032''. <all>
