Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Protecting Puppies from Sharia Act''. SEC. 2. NO FEDERAL FUNDS FOR STATES AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS THAT IMPLEMENT HARAM. (a) In General.--No Federal funds may be made available to any State or local government that prohibits residents of the jurisdiction from owning dogs. (b) Sense of Congress.--It is the sense of Congress that-- (1) Sharia law is a foreign concept that is against the pursuit of happiness; and (2) it is a right of all Americans to own a dog. <all>
